Austrian company hands over firefighting equipment

The Austrian Company, Rosenbauer International, handed over firefighting equipment to the Ministry of Public Security at a ceremony held in Hanoi on April 6.

At the event, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieut. Gen Pham Minh Chinh said the equipment provided previously by the Austrian government and relevant agencies have been used efficiently in fighting major fires across the country.

He expressed his hope that the Austrian government and relevant agencies would continue assisting the Vietnamese firefighting force in further enhancing its capacity.
