Another Metro Cash & Carry centre under construction in Mekong Delta

Metro Cash & Carry on March 31 broke the ground on a new commercial centre in Long Xuyen, An Giang province.

The centre is being built on an area of more than 3ha, including 6,500sq.m for sales of more than 25,000 products. It is expected to open later this year and generate 400 jobs.

This is the second Metro Cash & Carry centre in the Mekong Delta region and the 10th in Vietnam.

Randy Guttery, general director of Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam, highly praised the potential of the Mekong Delta region and said the centre will provide safe and high quality products for local people.

Vuong Binh Thanh, vice chairman of the An Giang provincial People’s Committee said that Metro will help the provincial economy further develop.
