Agricultural imports and exports increase this month

Agricultural export turnover reached US$17.23 billion in the first 11 months of this year, an increase of more than 22 percent over the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Exports of farm, forestry and seafood products in November contributed US$1.75 billion to the total turnover, the Ministry said.

In later months of this year, the export price of these products has risen, except coffee and cassava.

Imports values of farm, forestry and seafood products increased relatively. Agricultural imports turnover this month earned US$11.58 billion, an increase of nearly 37 percent compared to last year’s period.
