Agricultural cooperative sells produce at retail outlet

HCM City-based Tho Viet Agricultural Co-operative on Wednesday opened its first clean vegetable outlet under the brandname Evergreen Mart in Go Vap District.

The co-operative had pioneered a closed system, from cultivation, processing to distribution, said Le Thanh Liem, director of the municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The co-operative has more than 100 farm households with a total of 70 ha under vegetable cultivation. — VNS
