Additional 15 companies to be transformed into state-owned limited firms

Prime minister has lately issued decisions to transform 15 companies including the group’s parent companies and state-owned corporations into the one-member limited companies under the ownership of the state.

These 15 relating companies include:

* The parent company of Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation (Vicem)

* The parent company of Vietnam Railway Corporation

* The parent company of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex)

* The parent company of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Group

* The parent company of Song Da Group

* The parent company of Housing and Urban Development Group (HUD)

* The parent company of Viettel Telecommunication Group (Viettel)

* The parent company of Southern Food Corporation (Vinafood 2)

* The parent company of Vietnam Coffee Corporation (Vinacafe)

* The parent company of Vietnam Rubber Industrial Group (VRG)

* The parent company of Northern Food Corporation (Vinafood 1)

* The parent company of Vietnam Paper Corporation (Vinapaco)

* The parent company of Vietnam Shipping Industry Group (Vinashin)

* The parent company of Vietnam National Shipping Lines Corporation (Vinalines)

* The parent company of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (Vinacomin)

The chairpersons and members of management board in those corporations and groups will be the former members of the current management board until the prime minister assigns the new ones.
