6,800-tonne ship launched
Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Industry delivered a 6,800-tonne vessel to Nam Trieu Marine Service Company on Sunday in northern Hai Phong City.
The Nasico Eagle is 100.7m long, 16.8m wide and can travel at a maximum speed of 12 nautical miles per hour.
It meets international standards, meaning it can dock at any port in the world.
Nam Trieu has orders for two more ships capable of carrying 53,000 tonnes and with room for 6,900 cars. The ships are due for completion by the end of this year. — VNS
