500b dong to build coffee processing plant

Vinacafe Bien Hoa Joint Stock Co on December 15 started construction on building an instant coffee processing plant on a site of nearly five hectares in Long Thanh Industrial Zone, in the southern province of Dong Nai.

The company’s third plant equipped with European technology has an estimated capacity of 3,200 tonnes of instant coffee per year, equalling to the wholly capacity of all Vietnam’s coffee companies currently.

The plant is expected to be in operational in Q1, 2013 and provide about tens of thousand tonnes of instant coffee a year.
