4,500 cubic metre ethylene vessel officially launched

Bach Dang Shipbuilding Industry Corp officially launched a 4,500-cubic-metre ethylene vessel No 3 named Excalibur, under the signed contract with an Italian company.

The ethylene liquefied gas-carrying vessel has total length of 104 metres, width of 16.4 metres with loading capacity of 4,900 tonnes.
At present, the shipbuilder was concentrating on completing series of products to hand over for its partners by the end of this year such as 6,500 tonnes cargo ships, 1,700 TEU container vessel and other gas-carrying vessels.

In addition, the corporation continued finishing the series of cargo vessels with loading capacity of 17,500 for South Korea’s partners, the 14,600-tonne cement carrier for Nghi Son Cement Corp and 22,500-tonne cargo carrier for domestic firms. – Vietnam+
