The third Vietnam-Japan supporting industries exhibition officially opened Nov 12 in Hanoi with the participation of nearly 120 enterprises of both sides.

The exhibition will display mechanical products, moulds, plastics and packaging for the auto, electronics and electrical industries.
More than 1,400 Japanese enterprises are investing in fields of production, human force training, and technological transfer in Vietnam.
The development of supporting industry will help facilitate the Japanese investors’ production as well as raise the localization rate of Vietnamese enterprises, the ministry of industry and trade said on its website, citing head of trade promotion department Do Thang Hai.
Two seminars, including one on policies to boost the supporting industry in Vietnam and another on cooperative programs for enterprises operating in the industry, will be held on the occasion of the two-day exhibition.
