250 businesses join International fine art and handicraft fair

The International “LifeStyle Vietnam 2011” fair for fine art, handicrafts, wood products and gifts was held in HCM City on April 18 with the participation of 250 craft businesses displaying 700 pavilions.

The fair, held by the Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association (Vietcraft), also attracted more than 1,350 importers from 26 countries and territories across the world, including major businesses from Canada, Chile and Mexico.

During the four-day event, Vietnam’s special traditional fine art and handicraft products will be introduced to visitors and importers. There will also be seminars on interior decoration and gift trends in the major markets in the EU, Australia, the US and Japan.

The fair offers a good chance for Vietnamese artists, craftspeople and exporters to promote their products and seek partners for future cooperation. – VOV
