22 Vietnamese firms enjoy shrimp anti-dumping duty at 0.01pct

In response to the decision of the US Court of Trade International, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced its amendment on final anti-dumping duty on shrimp imported from Vietnam in the period from February 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors (VASEP).
According to the DOC’s list, all 22 Vietnamese shrimp exporters enjoy the tax of 0.01 percent. According to representatives of VASEP, if the verdict has no appeal, DOC will instruct the US Customs and Border Protection to impose anti-dumping tariffs for shipments imported the US market according to the amended tax and this is great news for our country’s shrimp exports.

Previously, 29 Vietnamese shrimp exporters enjoyed a reduction on anti-dumping tax from the average level of 3.92 percent to 1.52 percent.

7. Cuulong Seaproducts Company (“Cuu Long Seapro”)
8. Danang Seaproducts Import Export Corporation (“Seaprodex Danang”)
9. Frozen Seafoods Factory No. 32
10. Investment Commerce Fisheries Corporation (“Incomfish”)
11. Kim Anh Co., Ltd.
12. Minh Hai Export Frozen Seafood Processing Joint Stock Company,
13. Minh Hai Joint-Stock Seafoods Processing Company (“Seaprodex Minh Hai”)
14. Minh Hai Sea Products Import Export Company (Seaprimex Co)
15. Ngoc Sinh Private Enterprise
