16,500 enterprises get business licenses in Q1


During the first quarter this year, about 16,500 enterprises registered the business certificate with a total pledged capital of 91.6 trillion dong, Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) reported.

According to the ministry, in March alone (till March 23), about 6,800 firms received the business licenses with a total registered capital of more than 36.1 trillion dong.

Thus, in Q1, about 16,500 firms registered business certificates capitalised at 91.6 trillion dong, increasing 89.7 percent in volume and 84.1 percent in value from the same period last year.
