Vinashin marine electrical cable plant with a designed capacity of 8,000 tonnes of products a year, yesterday was inaugurated.
The plant, costing total $200 million, covers 45,000 sqm in Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone, Lien Chieu Dist, Da Nang. It is equipped with modern machine system imported from Europe, such as Niehoff tractor of Germany, CVline of Netherlands based Maillefer.
Tran Quan Tuan, director of director of Vinashin Macshinco said that the plant will help upgrade the domestication ratio in the shipbuilding industry.
The estimated revenue of the plant is about over 500 billion dong a year.
