At least 15 percent of the visitors from the US and Australia, travelling to Vietnam by cruise ships, have returned to the country, says the Chairman of Viet Excursion Travel Company, Le Dinh Tuan.
These visitors made a tour of Ha Long Bay in the north, Hue and Danang city in the centre and HCM City in the south. They flew to Cambodia for one day and then returned to HCM City for a new tour.
According to the country’s two large cruise ship service companies Saigontourists and Viet Excursion, they have received 5 cruise ships carrying 6,000 passengers and 2,000 crew members to HCM City in the first week of March.
