US dollar price to increase: Specialists

The dong/US dollar forex rate at commercial banks surged to 19,070 dong per US dollar on the first day of this week, making the US dollar price in the free market jump to 19,450 dong per US dollar.

US dollar price to increase

However, on March 9, the US dollar price in free market dropped by 40 dong/US dollar.

Currently the US dollar price listed at commercial banks is ranging around 19,070-19,100 dong per US dollar (buying-selling price).

Opening the market on March 9, some US dollar traders in Hanoi quoted the US dollar price at 19,380 dong per US dollar (buying price) and 19,420 dong/US dollar (selling price), down 40-30 dong/US dollar day on day.

With this signs, specialists forecasts that the US dollar price will continue to increase in coming time.
