SMC gains net profit of 14b dong in first two months


The southern bourse-listed SMC Investment and Trading Joint Stock Co (coded SMC) has released the brief financial reports in the first two months of this year with after tax profit of over 14 billion dong, equivalent to EPS of 585 dong.



In details, after the first two moths of 2011, SMC posted gaining net revenue of 1.169 trillion dong, and profit of 57.6 billion dong.



By the end of February, the company’s book value was posted at 1,169 dong per share.



After March 14 session, SMC-coded shares were traded at 18,900 dong per share, a drop of 0.53 percent against the previous session.



The company planned to hold annual shareholders meeting on April 9, 2011.
