Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Maritime Bank) – Binh Duong Branch inked a $25 million credit agreement with Ascendas-Protrade Co Ltd yesterday in Binh Duong province.
Under the signed contract, Maritime Bank would provide credit for the foreign partner to carry out the first and second phase of construction project on Singapore Ascendas-Protrade Tech Park (APSTP).
The park will be built in an area of 500 hectares in An Tay Commune, Ben Cat Dist, Binh Duong province. After being completed, APSTP will provide infrastructure facilities for those businesses operating in such sectors of food processing, beverage, energy, electrical, health care and pharmaceutics.
This project plays an important role in the An Tay Industrial and Service Complex that would be constructed in an area of 1,350 hectares with expected investment capital of about $150 million.
Maritime Bank planned to offer a credit fund of 800 billion dong for the first phase of Nghi Son Steel Mill with Nghi Son Cast Iron and Steel Joint Stock Co as the main investor.
