Japan invests in 1,636 projects in Vietnam
Foreign Investment Agency under Ministry of Planning and Investment on Tuesday held the seminar with Aichi province’s enterprises, Japan.
Do Nhat Cuong, Director of FIA reported that till the end of November 2011, Japan had total 1,636 operational FDI projects with total registered capital of $23.28 billion, ranking fourth among foreign investors. Notably, Aichi was one of the leading Japanese investors in Viet Nam. So far 97 businesses from the prefecture were involved. Most were operating effectively and had expanded operations.
At the seminar, Saburo Onoki, Director of the Aichi Investment and Trade Bureau stated that Japanese firms generally and Aichi entrepreneurs particularly paid special attention and would like to continue investment in Vietnam.
The Director added that Vietnamese authorities need to care and better conditions for enterprises to build business plans. – Vietbiz24
