The Golden Japan telecom and network cable production factory, invested by Japan’s Kodai Vietnam Co, in Hanoi is expected to start operation by 2011, the firm’s representative Tomotake Toshihiro announced.
Golden Japan is the brand name of Kodai manufactured cable, officially appearing in Vietnam from last May through import channel.
At the one-year establishment anniversary held in Hanoi recently, the representative reported that his firm’s revenue reached nine billion dong and its profit accounted for 31.2 percent of the revenue. Kodai Vietnam plans to earn 10 billion dong in revenue during the last half of 2010.
Products of Kodai include UTP, SFTP Category 5e, Category 6e, RG213, Power cable distributed by HCM City based Dang Khoi Co and Hanoi’s Dong Duong Co.
The factory with a designed capacity of 30 million metres of cable a year will be built in Nguyen Khue Industrial Zone, Dong Anh Dist, Hanoi.
