1.5tr dong cement plant project officially begins
Construction on Truong Son cement plant, with designed capacity of one million tonnes per year, was officially started on May 19, 2010 in Thuy Nguyen Dist, Hai Phong City. The project has total investment capital of 1.5 trillion dong with Quang Minh war invalids collective firm as the main investor.
The new plant is sited in an area of 16 hectares in Gia Duc Commune, Thuy Nguyen Dist, Hai Phong City. It is expected that the first phase of the construction project will be finished in 2012 and the plant will have designed capacity of 350,000 tonnes per year at that time.
China’s CMC group becomes the main contractor for this project.
